Over the years Maria has learned how to be a resilient woman, and it has been through this journey that she imparts her knowledge and experience to others.
Maria has been working in mental health since 2004.
In this time she have been instrumental in communicating simply and effectively, meeting the needs of different groups. Working as an Art Advocate and a Lived Experience Consultant.
She studied a (Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree-Ceramics) As a visual artist, she specialised in the three-dimensional form and painting.
Her art practice spans different disciplines, including ceramics, photography, community art, and short films.
I am working in collaboration with Diahann Lombandozzi (Bachelor of Architecture) artist and Mental Health Advocate.
The Visual Conductpr is a story about family expectations, taking charge and staying well involving art, personal goals and play.'

Woman is featured as creator who only have the capacity to create life. I have centered and raised the image of the woman on a plate and made her the focus of the painting.
The program shows artists how to explore and tap into their imagination and have fun and be playful.
Founders Maria Dimopoulos and Diahann Lombandozzi believe art focuses on the interaction between the Body, Mind, and Spirit. A sharing and interactive group gives people the opportunity to feel more unified when they are feeling particularly fragmented and experiencing mental instability..
This Short film entitled 'Inspiration' demonstrates a
3D art process by Maria Dimopoulos and Diahann Lombardozzi. Mixed Medium and personal objects have been applied to achieve the final designs which tell a story and map out a philosophy expressed by each of the Artists.
This video captures the 4C art exhibition held at the Archsign Style Gallery (ASG) Gallery in Abbotsford. It featured the artwork of 16 artistsinf the art project facilitated by Maria Dimopoulos. and Diahann Lombardozzi. The opening night was also the official launch of Alternative Responsive Techniques (A.R.T. )
